Company Profile

Perseus Mining (ASX/TSX: PRU) is an Australian headquartered, African focused gold mining company, that is currently actively involved in exploration, development and production of gold in Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire and Sudan.

In 2018, Perseus took its first major step towards transforming from being a single mine, single country business into a successful multi-mine, multi-jurisdiction enterprise. The Company now operates three gold mines, including Edikan in Ghana and Yaouré and Sissingué in Cote d’Ivoire. In H1 2022, Perseus completed the acquisition of Orca Gold Inc, the owner of the Block 14 Gold Project in Sudan and is now planning the development of the Meyas Sand Gold Project (formerly Block 14). The initial Final Investment Decision which was originally scheduled for H2 2023 was deferred due to an outbreak of armed conflict and subsequent security instability.

The Company has a strong balance sheet, an experienced and capable board and senior leadership team, and a strong sense of social responsibility reflected in a robust licence to operate in each of its host countries. Each of these attributes is expected to materially enhance Perseus’s ability to continue its current growth trajectory towards becoming a highly profitable and reliable mid-tier gold mining company.
