Company Profile

Galway Metals (GWM.TO) is well capitalized and has two advanced exploration projects in Canada: Clarence Stream, an exciting new gold district in New Brunswick, and Estrades, the former producing, gold- and zinc-rich VMS mine in the northern Abitibi of Western Quebec. Drilling at Clarence Stream has greatly expanded the number of near-surface new gold discovery zones, and the Company is working on a resource update to incorporate the new zones. Regarding Estrades, while it is one of the highest-grade zinc deposits in North America, precious metals make up most of the revenue basket as it also contains very strong gold and silver grades.

Since acquiring the projects, the Company has drilled 125,000 meters on the Clarence Stream project and 40,000 meters at the Estrades project, resulting in significant resource increases in both, although much of the drilling has yet to be incorporated into a new resource update. Looking forward, Galway plans on adding value through exploration to expand resources further and on advancing both projects toward production. A major benefit for the Company and its shareholders is that both projects are located in mine-friendly jurisdictions with highly skilled labor and excellent infrastructure.

Galway Metals began trading on January 4, 2013, after its successful spinout to existing shareholders from Galway Resources following the completion of the US$340 million sale of that company. With substantially the same management team and Board of Directors, Galway Metals is keenly intent on emulating the same level of success.
