Ausgold Limited is focusing on gold exploration in Western Australia and emerging new mineral provinces across Australia. The Company’s Katanning Gold Discovery is host to two mineralised corridors over an 18km strike where 10 pockets of gold mineralisation have been delineated. Through its ongoing 100,000m-drill campaign, Ausgold has to date identified four potential ore bodies demonstrating gold mineralisation consistent in geology to that of Newmont’s nearby Boddington Gold Mine. Such potential demonstrates that Ausgold could be sitting on the Yilgarn’s (southeast of Perth, Western Australia) next major gold discovery.
