The Tucano mine is a 7km structurally controlled, Iron Formation hosted, Gold deposit located in Amapa state in Brazil within the Vila Nova Greenstone fertile belt, in the Guiana Shield.

Tucano has been operated for 13 yrs with an average annual production of around 100Koz, in a 3.4Mt/year hybrid CIL plant capable of processing both the oxide and sulphide ores produced. It has 10 yrs resources and reserves for UG and 3yrs reserves for Open pit.

In addition, the Tucano mine has a package of approximately 2,000 sqkm of areas with advanced exploration program with consistent and continuous proved soil anomalies.
