Denver Gold Group converts Gold Forum Americas / XPL-DEV 2020 to a virtual event.

Each year, we look forward to re-engaging with all Denver Gold Group’s stakeholders in person at Gold Forum Americas / XPL-DEV. Unfortunately, the compounding uncertainties around COVID-19 as well as restrictions for just 100 people attending indoor events in Colorado, forced the difficult decision to cancel the in-person event scheduled for the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs this coming September.

Instead, Gold Forum Americas / XPL-DEV will proceed as a virtual event from September 20-23, 2020. The event will operate from 3 AM to 9 PM Denver time, providing participants with engagement opportunities in their respective business hours in all time zones.

This past April, DGG successfully concluded its first virtual event, The World Gold Forum, logging over half a million meeting and video minutes. DGG’s proprietary meeting and presentation platforms underpinned the Forum. The same proven technology will deploy to support Gold Forum Americas / XPL-DEV.

DGG’s preference was to pursue a hybrid live and virtual event. However, it became clear that we would be unable to prioritize the health and safety of attendees to our satisfaction. Similarly, DGG lacks assurance that the services and facilities required for an event of the Gold Forum’s scale and quality would be available because so many vendors, suppliers, and contractors are in varying stages of operation. Also, state and county health authorities do not have final re-opening goals or timelines.

We look forward to hosting you online for this year’s Gold Forum / XPL-DEV, and we apologize for the inconvenience of the change. Please remember to cancel your travel and lodging arrangements if already made.

Meetings will open for preference-setting, meeting prioritization, and system testing on Wednesday, September 9, 2020. Meeting scheduling commences on Monday, September 14, 2020. Virtual meetings begin on Monday, September 21, 2020, and conclude on Wednesday, September 23, 2020.
