Mr. Usmar is an international mining executive with over 25 years of experience working around the globe in operational, financial and executive leadership roles in some of the world’s largest and fastest growing mining companies. Prior to founding Triple Flag, Mr. Usmar served as Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Barrick Gold Corporation, from 2014 to 2016, where he helped restructure the company. He joined Xstrata in 2002 as an early senior executive member of the management team that grew the company into one of the world’s largest diversified miners at the time of its acquisition by Glencore in 2013. His roles at Xstrata included General Manager of Business Development in London, Chief Financial Officer of Xstrata’s global Ferro-Alloys business in South Africa, and Chief Financial Officer of Xstrata’s global Nickel business in Canada. Prior to joining Xstrata, Mr. Usmar worked at BHP Billiton in Corporate Finance in London, and started his career in mining in operations in the steel and aluminum industries as a production engineer. Mr. Usmar is the Vice-Chair of Make-A-Wish Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Science Engineering in Metallurgy and Materials from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, both with distinction.

About Nolan Watson

Since co-founding Sandstorm Gold in 2008, Nolan Watson has led the company’s transformation from a small startup into a diversified royalty company with a billion-dollar market capitalization. Prior to co-founding Sandstorm, Nolan was Chief Financial Officer of Silver Wheaton Corp. (now Wheaton Precious Metals Corp.) where he gained the experience that he needed to make Sandstorm a reality and a success. During his time there, Nolan developed the silver streaming business model and helped raise more than US$1 billion in debt and equity to fund the company’s growth.

Nolan is a Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia (Valedictorian). He holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst and received a Bachelor of Commerce degree, with honours, from the University of British Columbia.

Nolan’s professional and charitable achievements are not without their honours either. He was named the EY Entrepreneur of the Year, recognized as one of Canada’s Top 40 under 40, awarded CEO of the Year by Business in Vancouver, and received the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal. In 2014, Nolan was recognized as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. He is also the President of Nations Cry, a charity focused on education-based development in Sierra Leone, West Africa.

Sandeep Singh joined Osisko as President in January 2020. For the fifteen years prior, Mr. Singh was an investment banker in the metals and mining industry where he advised numerous mining companies on growth and financing strategies with Maxit Capital (2014-2020), Dundee Securities (2010–2014) and BMO Capital Markets (2005-2010). As co-founder of Maxit Capital, he was instrumental in building an independent and highly successful advisory firm which acted on some of the most complex and value-enhancing transactions in the mining sector.

Mr. Singh holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from Concordia University and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Oxford University.

Mr. William Heissenbuttel brings more than 30 years of corporate finance experience with 25 of those years in project and corporate finance in the metals and mining industry. He joined Royal Gold in 2006.
Mr. Heissenbuttel was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer and a Class I Director of Royal Gold, effective January 2, 2020. From June 2018 to January 2, 2020, he served as our Chief Financial Officer and Vice President Strategy. From 2007 through 2018, he served as Vice President Corporate Development. From January 2015 to June 2016, he served as Vice President, Operations for the Company, and from April 2006 through January 2007, he was Manager, Corporate Development for the Company.
Prior to Royal Gold, Mr. Heissenbuttel served as Senior Vice President from 2000 to 2006 and Vice President from 1999 to 2000 at N M Rothschild & Sons (Denver) Inc. From 1994 to 1999, he served as Vice President and then as Group Vice President at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. From 1987 to 1994, he was a Senior Credit Analyst and an Associate at Chemical Bank Manufacturers Hanover.
Mr. Heissenbuttel holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in finance from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Economics from Northwestern University.

Mr. Smallwood holds a geological engineering degree from the University of British Columbia, and a mine engineering diploma from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Mr. Smallwood was involved in the founding of Wheaton Precious Metals and in 2007, he joined Wheaton full time as Executive Vice President of Corporate Development, primarily focusing on growing the Company through the evaluation and acquisition of streaming opportunities. In January 2010, he was appointed President, and in April 2011, he was appointed Wheaton’s Chief Executive Officer. Before joining the original Wheaton River group in 1993, Mr. Smallwood also worked with Homestake Mining Company, Teck Corp. and Westmin Resources. Mr. Smallwood was an instrumental part of the team that built Wheaton River / Goldcorp into one of the largest, and more importantly, most profitable gold companies in the world, and he is now focused on continuing to add to the impressive growth profile of Wheaton. Mr. Smallwood has served on the board of Defiance Silver Corp. (formerly ValOro Resources Inc. and Geologix Explorations Inc.) since 2005. Mr. Smallwood formerly served on the board of Ventana Gold from 2008 to 2011, Castle Peak Resources from 2010 to 2012, and Tigray Resources Inc. from 2011 to May 2014. Mr. Smallwood is also the chairman of the board for Special Olympics BC, and a member of the boards of MineralsEd BC and Mining4Life, and previously on the board of the BC Cancer Foundation. Mr. Steinmann joined Pan American’s Board of Directors in 2016 and is a member of the Health, Safety, Environment and Communities Committee and the Finance Committee. Mr. Perron’s career of more than 35 years in the global mining industry has included extensive technical and operational experience. Mr. Blasutti was the President and CEO of US Silver & Gold prior to its merger with Americas Silver Corporation (formerly Scorpio Mining Corporation). Jason Reid is an experienced mining industry executive serving as CEO, President and Director of Fortitude Gold Corporation (FGC). FGC was spun out of Gold Resource Corporation (GRC) (NYSE American: GORO) where Jason previously served for over 14 years including CEO, President and Director positions. Jason joined GRC in 2006 when it was a private Company and helped take it public with a self-underwritten IPO. Jason was part of a management team that took GRC from an exploration stage company, to a development stage company, to a gold and silver dividend paying metal producer. Under his tenure as CEO & President, GRC achieved over a decade of production, generated over $1 billion in revenue, ten consecutive years of profitability, and returned over $115 million in dividends to shareholders. At GRC, he also co-created and initiated the first known cash to physical gold and silver dividend program whereby shareholders could take delivery of precious metals. As an entrepreneur prior to GRC, Jason was the founder and president of two successful businesses he ran for 13 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Fort Lewis College.

From 2008 to 2013, he was the Chief Executive, Mining for ArcelorMittal, responsible for 27 operating mines and three major development projects, distributed within 12 countries. From 2006 to 2008, Mr. Kukielski was the Chief Operating Officer of Teck Resources, responsible for the copper, zinc, gold and the metallurgical coal operations and projects, in addition to overseeing the commercial function. From 2001 to 2006, he was with Falconbridge (originally Noranda) in senior roles, latterly including Chief Operating Officer, and in years prior he had various increasingly senior roles with other major mining companies, including direct experiences in engineering, commissioning and operating significant mines in a wide variety of international jurisdictions.

Mr. Wolfin brings 30 years of experience in mining and finance. Mr Klein was appointed as Executive Chairman in October 2011, following the merger of Conquest Mining Limited and Catalpa Resources Limited. Previously he served as the Executive Chairman of Conquest Mining.

Prior to that, Mr Klein was President and CEO of Sino Gold Mining Limited, where, along with Mr Askew (Director from 2002 and Chairman from 2005 of Sino Gold) he managed the development of that company into the largest foreign participant in the Chinese gold industry. Sino Gold was listed on the ASX in 2002 with a market capitalisation of A$100 million and was purchased by Eldorado Gold Corporation in late 2009 for over A$2 billion. It became an ASX/S&P 100 Company, operating two award-winning gold mines and engaging over 2,000 employees and contractors in China. Prior to joining Sino Gold (and its predecessor) in 1995, Mr Klein was employed at Macquarie Bank and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Mr. O'Connor is currently CEO and Chief Geologist and a Director of the Company. He has over 30 years of experience in international mineral exploration and development. He is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (FAusIMM), a Fellow of the Society of Economic Geology, and holds a graduate degree in geology, geophysics and environmental studies from the University of Auckland.
Mr. O’Connor was Vice-President of Dundee Resources from 2007 to 2017 where he guided investment decisions with his technical due diligence on 200+ resource projects across all continents and covering gold, diamonds, base metals, bulk commodities and uranium.
From 2000 to 2007, Mr. O’Connor was Vice-President, Exploration of Gabriel Resources Ltd. where he directed the drill out and feasibility of the 16+Moz Rosia Montana gold resource, the discovery and scoping of the Rodu-Frasin gold deposit (~2Moz), as well as the drill out and scoping studies of the large (500+MMt) Tarnita and Rosia Poieni Cu-Au porphyry deposits. Mr. O’Connor was Vice-President, Exploration of European Goldfields from 2000 to 2003 where he was responsible for the discovery, drill out and scoping studies of a number of deposits in the belt including the Certej gold deposit (3Moz), the Teascu (0.5Moz) gold deposit, and Hanes gold deposits (0.6Moz).
